ECHN Earns National Recognition for Stroke Care Excellence from American Heart Association
MANCHESTER, CT, Aug. 7 — Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) has been recognized with the American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines® – Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award, along with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite distinction. This national recognition reflects ECHN’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality stroke care based on the latest evidence-based guidelines.
The Gold Plus Award is the highest level of recognition within the American Heart Association’s quality improvement program. The Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite designation is awarded to hospitals that consistently meet aggressive treatment benchmarks—specifically, delivering clot-busting therapy to eligible stroke patients within 60 minutes of arrival at least 85% of the time.
