Open access services for adolescents (age 12 to 18) and adults is designed to decrease barriers to treatment and allows you to access outpatient behavioral health services when you want and need them.
ECHN’s child and adolescent outpatient services at Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital are tailored to meet the specific needs of children and teens age 3-18. Our outpatient staff is comprised of psychiatrists, APRN’s and licensed clinicians who specialize in treating children and adolescents, and our patient-centered treatment plans aim to improve interpersonal, social, emotional and academic struggles.
Adults facing a behavioral health issue can be seen without at our 150 North Main Street office in Manchester. They are seen by a clinician and psychiatrist who complete a comprehensive assessment and are then connected to support services and programs best suited to their needs.
ECHN is proud to have a collaborative partnership with Walden Behavioral Care – a rapidly-growing, national mental healthcare system specializing in the treatment of eating disorders and mental health conditions. Located at ECHN’s South Windsor Campus, the Walden Eating Disorder Clinic provides specialized outpatient care to adolescents and adults struggling with anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder. Located at Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital, ECHN’s inpatient behavioral health units are safe, supportive environments that offer adolescents and aduly patients peace of mind by also having complete medical services on-site if needed. Inpatient units are organized in a multidisciplinary fashion with care plans designed by a team of health professionals including physicians, counselors and social workers.
Recently opened in 2017, ECHN’s Older Adult Behavioral Health Unit at Manchester Memorial Hospital is an inpatient unit designed to provide a safe and secure environment to address the special needs of seniors age 55 and older, who are experiencing emotional and behavioral changes that can not be managed in an outpatient setting.
Walden Eating Disorders Center at Rockville Hospital is Connecticut’s first dedicated inpatient eating disorder treatment center, serving individuals from across the country. Our Eating Disorders Center provides inpatient treatment to all adults age 18 and older who struggle with anorexia, ARFID, bulimia, binge eating disorder or other specific feeding and eating disorders.
The Clinical Day School at Manchester Memorial Hospital is a fully accredited, private, special education school that is approved by the State of Connecticut Department of Education to serve students ages 12-21. The Clinical Day School has a strong tradition of providing innovative, evidenced-based educational and clinical services, and we have been helping students with complex social-emotional and learning challenges succeed since 1995.
