Center for Wound Healing
At ECHN’s Center for Wound Healing, we understand that the causes of wounds are complex and varied. Our goal is to identify the barriers of healing in order to successfully help accelerate the healing process, and manage recurrence. Comprised of a dedicated team of doctors, nurses and experts in all of the major areas necessary to treat chronic wounds, each patient is thoroughly evaluated, and along with a patient’s medical history, our team works closely together to develop a treatment plan specific to each patient’s needs in order to manage pain and promote healing and ultimately improve activity.
A Healthy Partnership: Healogics, Inc.
ECHN has a strong 9 year partnership with Healogics, a nationwide network of wound care experts specializing in the latest wound care treatment and prevention techniques. Through this established relationship, ECHN physicians and nursing professionals participate in comprehensive wound care training to bring advanced techniques and innovative ideas to patients in our community.
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is an innovative treatment for patients with wounds that do not respond to standard wound care treatment. Patients are enclosed in a hyperbaric chamber and breathe in 100% pure oxygen to saturate their blood plasma and boost their body’s oxygen-dependent wound-healing mechanisms.
