Wound Care

At ECHN’s Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine, we understand that the causes of wounds are complex and varied. Our goal is to identify the barriers of healing in order to successfully help accelerate the healing process, manage recurrence to prevent lower limb loss and optimize outcomes for our patients.

Comprised of a dedicated team of doctors, nurses and experts in all of the major areas necessary to treat chronic wounds, each patient is thoroughly evaluated, and along with a patient’s medical history, our team works closely together to develop a treatment plan specific to each patient’s needs in order to manage pain and promote healing and ultimately improve activity.

If you or a loved one has a wound that is of concern or is not healing properly, we encourage you to visit the wound center for an evaluation.

Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBO) Therapy

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is an innovative treatment for patients with wounds that do not respond to standard wound care treatment. Patients are enclosed in a hyperbaric chamber and breathe in 100% pure oxygen to saturate their blood plasma and boost their body’s oxygen-dependent wound-healing mechanisms.
