Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program
Pulmonary conditions affect a variety of aspects in your life, so it is important to us that we surround you with a team that will optimize your health.
ECHN’s pulmonary rehabilitation program is an education and exercise program designed to help you understand the anatomy and physiology of your respiratory system. We aim to help you manage your condition over time by increasing your ability to perform physical activities and better manage respiratory symptoms.
Using a dynamic team approach, our pulmonary rehabilitation program is comprised of board certified pulmonary physicians, a registered dietitian, as well as registered nurses, pharmacists, exercise physiologists, and respiratory care practitioners.
This program is comprised of 16 sessions (8 weeks). Each session is 1.5 hours in length, and meets twice a week. This education and exercise program aims to help you manage your condition over time, including how to better understand the anatomy and physiology of your respiratory system.

Post-Rehabilitation Maintenance Program
Follow-up care is available on a self-pay basis to those who have completed the formal, 16-session pulmonary rehabilitation program.
The goal of the post-rehabilitation maintenance program is to encourage patients to maintain the exercises and routine learned during the initial phase of the program, and who want to continue increasing their strength and activity level over time.
