Located at Rockville General Hospital, the Maternity Care Center and Family Planning Center (MCFPC) provides prenatal and postpartum care services to uninsured and under-insured women. At the center, women have access to a wide variety of services including:

  • Assistance in enrolling in the Husky Medical Insurance Plan
  • Gynecological exams
  • Laboratory services
  • Physical exams, health promotion and maintenance
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Sexually transmitted disease testing and prevention education
  • Ultrasounds

The Maternity Care Center and Family Planning Center team works very closely with the Family Birthing Center at Manchester Memorial Hospital to ensure a seamless transition of care for expectant parents as they prepare for birth. Patients receiving care through the MCFPC will receive one-on-one care from a certified doctor or nurse.

The Maternity Care Center and Family Planning Center is open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and is located on the second floor of Rockville General Hospital.
