Gynecological Surgery

Whether a routine surgery or specialized surgery as part of a cancer treatment program, your procedure is performed by highly-experienced surgeons utilizing the most advanced technology. You and your family will also get all of the educational and support services you need to ease anxiety and help you feel comfortable and confident about your procedure.

Gynecological surgery is performed at both Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital. Many procedures are now possible using minimally invasive techniques such as robotic-assisted surgery. In fact, Manchester Memorial Hospital is proud to be the only hospital in eastern Connecticut to use the da Vinci® Xi Surgical System. It’s the latest in robotic surgery technology and provides excellent surgical outcomes while minimizing scarring, shortening hospital stays and helping you return to normal activity as quickly as possible.
