The Maternity Care and Family Planning Center has been a mainstay at Rockville General Hospital for more than 30 years. The Center provides prenatal and postpartum care for women who are uninsured or under-insured, and they have access to a wide variety of services. All patients will receive one-on-one care from a doctor or nurse.
Our services include:
- Assistance in enrolling in the HUSKY Health State of CT Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program (Private Insurers also accepted)
- CT Breast and Cervical Early Detection Program
- Family Planning Services
- Gynecological exams
- Laboratory services
- Parenting Support from ECHN's Family Development Center
- Physical exams, health promotion and maintenance
- Pregnancy testing
- Sexually transmitted infection testing and prevention education
- Ultrasounds
- WISEWOMAN Program
Patients receiving care through the Center will receive one-on-one care from a doctor or nurse. The Center’s staff works very closely with Family Birthing Center at Manchester Memorial Hospital to ensure a seamless transition of care for prenatal patients as they prepare for birth.
