Dr. Chaurette is a board-certified psychiatrist with a PhD in Neurobiology and extensive experience in clinical care, teaching, and leadership. She trained in psychiatry at the Institute of Living / Hartford Hospital after earning her MD and PhD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
Dr. Chaurette has served as an attending psychiatrist and associate medical director at Natchaug Hospital and currently provides care at ECHN Ambulatory Behavioral Health.
She has held faculty appointments at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Quinnipiac University, and she remains active in professional organizations, including the American Psychiatric Association and the American Neuropsychiatric Association. Her interests span the integration of neuroscience and psychiatry, patient-centered care, and the advancement of diversity and inclusion in mental health.
