Dr. Ibrahim Mohsin is a nephrologist practicing in Connecticut. He completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Connecticut, John Dempsey Hospital, following Internal Medicine training at Norton Community Hospital and earlier Emergency Medicine training accredited by the Royal College of Emergency Medicine in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Mohsin has authored multiple peer-reviewed case reports and original research articles and has presented clinical abstracts at national conferences, including the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN).
He provides comprehensive kidney care with expertise in chronic kidney disease, diabetic and hypertensive nephropathy, glomerular diseases, kidney stones, electrolyte disorders, and dialysis management. His special interests include interventional nephrology, particularly dialysis access care, arteriovenous fistula (AVF) management, angiograms, peritoneal dialysis catheter placement, and tunneled dialysis catheter (PermCath) procedures. He strives to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s individual needs.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Mohsin enjoys aviation, boating and values spending time with his family. He is dedicated to providing patient-centered, practical, and respectful care that aligns with each patient’s goals and priorities.
