ECHN’s Quarterly DAISY Award Recipient: Kaycee Rabara

Published:

Meet Kaycee Rabara, our Quarterly DAISY Award Recipient!

Kaycee Rabara, RN, is a valued member of Manchester Memorial Hospital’s 2East unit. Kaycee was recently honored with the Daisy Award, recognizing the exceptional care she provides and the deep appreciation shared by both her patients and coworkers.

Kaycee is known for her passion, compassion, and tireless dedication. In addition to achieving numerous professional milestones—including earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and completing certifications in chemotherapy, immunotherapy administration, and ELNEC (End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium) training—she consistently goes above and beyond for those she serves.

A trusted preceptor, Kaycee guides new nurses with patience, insight, and confidence. She frequently steps into the charge nurse role, coordinating care with professionalism and calm leadership. Even in her relatively short time on the unit, Kaycee has made a profound impact. Her leadership, generosity of spirit, and unwavering commitment to excellence strengthen her team, support safer patient care, and elevate the entire nursing profession.

Congratulations, Kaycee — and thank you for all you do!

The quarterly Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) DAISY award program is for staff registered nurses at Manchester Memorial Hospital, Rockville General (a campus of Manchester Memorial Hospital), and Visiting Nurse & Health Services of CT. We are fortunate to have nurses such as Kaycee Rabara.
