To support early detection and other health concerns, ECHN participates in the Connecticut Breast and Cervical Early Detection Program, as well as the WISEWOMAN Program for heart disease screening. Services are available for women ages of 40-64 who have no health insurance or have a high insurance deductible. The Breast/Cervical Program offers a clinical breast exam, mammogram, pelvic exam and pap test, along with additional imaging/testing if needed. The WISEWOMAN Program includes free health screenings, such as blood pressure testing, cholesterol testing and glucose testing for prediabetes and diabetes.
