Health Education Programs

Every season, we dedicate time and resources to enhance the overall health and wellness of our communities by offering FREE educational programs to individuals and families. This Winter, we invite you to join us and our healthcare providers in one of our many health education lectures.

Joint Effort Program

This program is for individuals scheduled to have total or partial hip or knee replacement surgery and for those thinking about having replacement surgery. ECHN staff will explain step-by-step the surgery day procedures, recovery care options, pain management and the rehabilitation process. Individuals who will be assisting a loved one’s recovery after surgery are encouraged to attend.

Freedom From Smoking

Learn how to overcome your nicotine addiction while working with a certified facilitator in a small group setting. This program is comprised of eight sessions over seven weeks and includes a participant workbook and other informative materials. It is for both smokers and vapers. Sessions are sequential, and participants must attend from the beginning.

Weekly from January 15 – February 26
