ECHN’s 14th Annual Cancer Survivors Day event – A Celebration of Life
Sep 10, 2017
Save the date for ECHN’s 14th Annual Cancer Survivors Day event – A Celebration of Life. Cancer survivors and the families, friends and caregivers who supported the fight every step of the way are invited to join us for an afternoon of laughter. Our keynote speaker, author and humorist, Gina Barecca, will present “Generosity, Comfort, and Spirit: Why We Need Humor Every Day.”
“Humor allows us to have new perspectives on moments of our lives that are otherwise lost to sadness, fear or misery. Laughing with someone is as close as you can get to them without giving them a hug, and sometimes it can make a hug even better.” - Gina Barecca
This free event will also feature a buffet brunch and giveaways. Pre-registration is required.
Registration opens August 1.

Staying active is important to your overall well-being. If muscle, bone or joint problems are interfering with your ability to move without pain, turn to ECHN for all of your musculoskeletal needs.
The orthopedics experts on the ECHN medical staff treat problems with shoulders, hands, spine, hips, knees – whether they are related to everyday activities or a sports injury. We can help you get back to the activities you enjoy.
If you have been putting off the decision to seek care for a sore shoulder, stiff knee, aching hip, bad back or painful hand, the time has never been better to "get moving" again.
Each of our orthopedic surgeons have extensive training in the newest procedures, including minimally invasive surgery, to treat hip, shoulder, knee, back, spine, arm and hand problems at both Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital.
