Representative Joe Courtney will once again be speaking at the Business Alliance for Community Health (BACH) quarterly meeting on Friday, February 22, 2013, at Manchester Memorial Hospital in the H. Louise Ruddell Auditorium at 8:00 a.m. This meeting is open to the public. The Congressman’s previous visit in 2010 was very well received.
BACH is a program of the ECHN Community Healthcare Foundation. The mission of BACH is to address current health issues facing businesses and their employees, while providing philanthropic support for ECHN and a networking environment. BACH also provides a forum to create and strengthen relationships between companies and other local businesses to work towards united goals and needs in the area of healthcare, wellness and safety.
Congressman Courtney was elected in 2006 to represent the Second Congressional District of Connecticut in the U.S. House of Representatives. He serves on the Armed Services, Education & Workforce, and Agriculture Committees. The topics for this presentation will be a healthcare reform update and the state of Connecticut business. There will be an opportunity for questions from attendees.
