South Windsor Medical Building

The ECHN Medical Building in South Windsor is located at 2800 Tamarack Drive, right off Buckland Street and just past the Shops at Evergreen Walk. The building houses:

  • ECHN’s Women’s Center for Wellness, which offers digital mammography, bone density screenings, and complementary therapies including acupuncture, therapeutic massage, and hypnotherapy. The telephone number is (860) 533-4646.
  • ECHN’s Rehabilitation Services, offered for orthopedic and sports injuries, neurological disorders, arthritis, and acute and chronic pain. Current specialized programs include manual therapy (including Mulligan’s techniques), certified kinesio taping, balance and gait training, occupational therapy, and aquatic therapy in a specially designed indoor pool.
  • Evergreen Imaging, a joint venture between ECHN and Eastern Connecticut Imaging Inc. (the radiology group on ECHN’s medical staff). Key medical imaging equipment located here includes a CT scanner, a state-of-the-art short-bore MRI unit, and more.
  • An ECHN Laboratory Draw Station is located within this medical building, in Suite 002. The lab’s telephone number is (860) 533-4604. Appointments are available from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
  • The offices of ophthalmologist Ilona Shternfeld, MD, and otolaryngologist (ear, nose and throat specialist) Michael Shternfeld, MD.
  • The offices of Eastern Connecticut Orthopaedics, the practice of orthopedic surgeons Kenneth Alleyne, MD, Vipul Dua, MD, and David Johnson, MD.
