Work-Related Injuries
If you or your workers have been hurt on the job, ECHN's CorpCare Occupational Health service offers a healthcare solution for you. On average, 80 percent of workers treated at CorpCare safely return to full or modified duty after initial office visits.
No appointments are necessary for initial office visits. We offer on-site physical therapy and on-site x-rays. Our services for work-related injuries include:
Injury Care Management
- Provides "one-stop" approach for comprehensive clinical care using nationally recognized treatment protocols.
- Coordinates 24-hour, 365 days-a-year access to after-hour care through the Emergency Departments at Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital.
- Sends timely documentation on medical and work status directly to employers and managed care representatives for efficient claim processing.
- Works directly with employers to develop transitional work adjustments to minimize costs associated with lost work time.
- Coordinates quick access to a network of medical specialists for more complex cases.
Industrial Rehabilitation
- Educates employees about their injuries to prevent re-injury and increase confidence as they transition back to work.
- Improves workers' functional abilities and work tolerance (including muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness).
- Decreases injury duration and lost work time with early and appropriate rehabilitation that simulates work tasks.
- Offers worksite job analysis to insure safe job placement following injury recovery.
