The ABCs Of Babies – A Free Prenatal Class For Women Age 25 And Under

MANCHESTER, CONNECTICUT – Women, age 25 and under, who are preparing for a new baby and want to learn more about their body, their baby, and parenting, are invited to attend a free 10-week prenatal education class. The program will be held on Thursdays, from 5 to 7:30 p.m., beginning September 22, at Manchester Memorial Hospital, 71 Haynes St., in Conference Rooms E & F (basement level).
Topics include prenatal nutrition for a healthy baby, signs of labor, tour of the Family Birthing Center, information about what to expect from your infant, how to prepare for the baby, breast and bottle-feeding techniques, basic infant care and development, and more. Information about community resources will also be available.
We welcome the father of the baby and/or support person as well. Light refreshments provided. To register, please call Liz at ECHN’s Family Development Center, 860.646.1222, Ext. 2447.
