The Rockville General Hospital Auxiliary hosted its Light of Life tree-lighting ceremony in front of the hospital on December 3. The assembled town residents were treated to holiday songs beautifully sung by the Tolland High School Madrigal Singers. At the conclusion of the outdoor event, everyone was invited indoors to share hot chocolate and cookies in the cafeteria. The Madrigal Singers continued with a few more songs as people enjoyed the refreshments. Guests also had the opportunity to view the list of 288 people who were honored or memorialized through the purchase of a light for the tree. It was an enjoyable event for everyone.
