Jack Mason Memorial Golf Tournament Benefits Rockville General Hospital

Oct 7, 2010 -

MANCHESTER, CONNECTICUT - Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) held its 28th Annual Jack Mason Memorial Golf Tournament on September 13. A total of 154 golfers registered for this event in support of Rockville General Hospital, and more than $57,000 in net proceeds were raised. This tournament was started by good friends of Jack Mason one year after his death. He was a resident of Rockville, a Rockville business owner and was closely and enthusiastically involved with Rockville General Hospital for many years. Over the 28 years since this tournament's inception, more than $1.1 million has been raised to support Rockville General Hospital.

This tournament was made possible through the generosity of a number of corporate and individual sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor Trust Company of Connecticut; Gold Sponsors Advanced Performance Glass, Inc., Ambulance Service of Manchester, Durant, Nichols, Houston, Hodgson & Cortese-Costa, P.C., IKON Office Solutions, and William Gallagher Associates; Corporate Sponsors Americom Inc., BNY Mellon Wealth Management, and O'Brien, Tanski, & Young; Lunch Sponsor Wellcare of Connecticut, Inc.; and Registration Sponsors Crown Healthcare Apparel Service, Erland Construction, Inc., and Visiting Nurse & Health Services of Connecticut, Inc.
