Eastern Connecticut Health Network's (ECHN) Rehabilitation Services is pleased to announce that Troy McDonough, MSPT, CSCS has joined the ECHN Rehabilitation services Team as a staff physical therapist at the Rehabilitation Services Clinic in the Evergreen Walk Medical Building in South Windsor.
Troy comes to ECHN from Cordinal Physical Therapy in Missoula, MT, where he worked in an outpatient orthopedic setting focusing on treatment and prevention of orthopedic injuries. Troy also designed and implemented a speed and athletic development program for high school, collegiate and professional track athletes and football players.
Troy earned his Masters of Science in physical therapy for the University of Montana. He also holds a Bachelors of Science in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Exercise Physiology, and his Masters research project was presented at the 2004 APTA combined Sections meeting.
While in school, Troy was honored as an NCAA Division I Academic All-American, an eight time Big Sky All-Conference Academic Selection, as well as the President of the University of Montana Student Athlete Advisory Board.
