The Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) has received great benefit from its community relationship with BNY Mellon Wealth Management. An investment management and investment services company, BNY Mellon focuses on helping clients manage their financial assets and succeed in the rapidly changing global marketplace. The company is also committed to encouraging its employees to give back to the community.
BNY Mellon joined ECHN’s Business Alliance for Community Health (BACH) to take advantage of an opportunity to network with other businesses which share its desire to serve the community. Maureen Zavatone, sales advisor at the West Hartford office, has enjoyed getting involved in BACH activities and now serves on the Corporate Relations Committee of the ECHN Foundation board.
“It makes perfect sense for BNY Mellon to support organizations like ECHN which serve the communities where our employees live and work,” says Ms. Zavatone, a 14-year veteran of the investment firm. In just over two years, BNY Mellon has been proud to donate over $25,000 in support of capital renovations and golf tournaments, which benefit Manchester Memorial and Rockville General Hospitals, and the Healium Balls, which benefit the John A. DeQuattro Cancer Center. ECHN is proud to count BNY Wealth Management among its loyal corporate friends.
