ECHN Celebrated Opening Of The Walden Behavioral Care Eating Disorders Clinic In South Windsor

On September 20, Walden Behavioral Care, LLC of Waltham, Mass., a leading hospital for treating eating disorders, ECHN celebrated the opening of Walden’s new clinic located on ECHN’s medical office campus, 2400 Tamarack Ave., South Windsor.

Key speakers at the open house were Dennis G. O'Neill, M.D., chairman of ECHN's Board of Trustees, and Stuart L. Koman, Ph.D., president and CEO of Walden Behavioral Care. State Senator Gary LeBeau presented both gentlemen with a Governor's Proclamation.
The community had an opportunity to meet the Walden staff and tour the facility.

The new clinic provides partial hospitalization care for adults ages 18 and older, and intensive outpatient care for adolescents ages 12 to 17.  The partial hospitalization program is offered five days a week, and the outpatient program is offered three days a week.  Patients who need more intensive treatment will be treated at Walden’s hospital and residential program in Waltham.

Walden has several satellite clinics in Massachusetts, but the new clinic is Walden’s first in Connecticut.
