Eastern Connecticut Health Network's (ECHN) recently held its annual Employee Campaign. The 2010 Campaign - Paint A Brighter Future - raised a total of $184,701, a 30 percent increase over FY09. Donations were received from 284 employees, with 53 first-time donors. Funds will be used as designated by the employee in support of programs and services at ECHN. Fundraising activities also include 17 Group Challenges held by individual departments that raised $7,583. Activities included sales of baked goods, ice cream, and candy, guessing games, a silent auction, and the sale of ECHN license plate covers. The event promoted goodwill and healthy competition throughout the health system.
