The Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs at Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital have been awarded recertification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). The AACVPR program certification committee thoroughly reviewed the hospitals' programs for completeness and adherence to essential standards of care. The recertification is valid for three years.
The AACVPR is a national, multidisciplinary association dedicated to the improvement of clinical proactive, promotion of scientific inquiry, and advancement of education for the benefit of cardiovascular and pulmonary rehabilitation professionals and the patients they serve.
