On September 14, 2009, Eastern Connecticut Health Network's (ECHN) Community Healthcare Foundation will be holding its 27th annual Jack Mason Memorial Golf Tournament at Ellington Ridge Country Club in Ellington. This year's presenting tournament sponsor, for the 12th consecutive year, is Trust Company of Connecticut, a division of New Alliance Bank. This tournament was started by good friends of Jack Mason one year after his death. He was a resident of Rockville, a Rockville business owner and was closely and enthusiastically involved with Rockville General Hospital for many years. Over the 26 years since this tournament's inception, over $1 million has been raised to support Rockville General Hospital.

The Jack Mason Memorial Golf Tournament is $200 per person and includes green fees, golf cart, lunch, beverages and snacks on the course, cocktail hour with hors d'oeuvres, dinner, silent auction and entry into the Grand Prize drawing, which is two nights lodging with breakfast and dinner at the Inn at Water's Edge in Okemo, VT. This prize includes two rounds of Golf for a foursome and limousine transportation to and from the Inn and golf course.
